Why did you choose to pursue an MCM degree, and why did you choose Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine?
The MCM program is a beautiful marriage of my two passions: conservation and medicine. I love field work and having the liberty to explore research and case studies, which is another strong aspect of MCM I loved!
What are your interests and/or experience relative to your program?
I have worked at a doggy daycare, a Humane Society and have shadowed at a VCA Animal Hospital. I have been volunteering/working with animals since I was 13 and have been exposed to so much. These experiences have led me to conclude that conservation science/medicine and veterinary medicine are not mutually exclusive.
What are your career goals after completing the program?
The end goal is to attend veterinary school and pursue the profession in the world of wildlife vet care, infectious disease, or oncology.
