Our Services
Medical surveillance and medical clearance for students who work with animals in clinical and research contexts.
Services are included as part of your Student Health fee. These services are accessible to current students.
- Immunizations and titers.
- Rabies antibody titer at one year
- Rabies post-exposure vaccine prophylaxis.
- Same-day concerns including fevers, coughs, sore throat, rashes, urinary tract infections, and allergies.
- Point-of-care testing for pregnancy, urinalysis, flu, mono, COVID-19, and strep.
- Evaluation and treatment of minor injuries, allergic reactions, cuts, bruises, animal bites, and other animal-caused injuries.
- Routine physical exams.
- Referrals for mental health services
- Evaluation, treatment, and/or referral provided for health concerns, such as abdominal pain, STI screening, pelvic exam, reproductive health services, transgender healthcare, and gender-affirming treatment.
- 24/7 on-call service is available for after-hours consultations and triage.
New incoming students are required to complete all required immunizations or antibody testing before their first day of orientation.
