Vet Talks
On September 14, 2021, Cummings School hosted Vet Talks, where eight faculty members gave five-minute, TED-style presentations on their research. Over 200 clients, friends and Cummings School community members joined a zoom webinar that evening to hear enlightening presentations and engage in Q&A with the faculty presenters.
The topics included why studying rats can help us understand the long-term impacts of the opioid epidemic, how veterinarians are helping to prevent the next pandemic, the effects of rodenticide on birds of prey, the genetics of cancer, and what is a veterinarian’s role in global health.
The event was made possible by the generous support from Robert and Sally Croce, Brighter World Campaign Committee members.
