Biography
Bryan Windmiller holds a Ph.D. in biology and a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy, both from Tufts University. He was the founder of an ecological consultancy, Hyla Ecological Services, and has taught courses in wetlands ecology and herpetology. In 2006 – 2007, Bryan was a visiting scholar at James Cook University in Australia, where he studied the epidemiology of a fungal disease that has caused the extinction of amphibian species worldwide. Since then, he has worked as an independent consulting ecologist and educator, specializing in integrating hands-on educational programs into the conservation of rare reptile and amphibian species.
