Tarek Atallah Benson, MCM’22
Biography
Hello! My name is Tarek Atallah Benson and I graduated with a B.S. from the College of Saint Rose in 2017, majoring in Biology with a concentration in cell and molecular biology. Since then, I’ve interned for the NYSDOH, and worked for Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. I was committed to join the MCM program because of its One Health approach and externship opportunities. I have a specific interest in international wildlife conservation. After completing the MCM program, I hope to pursue a DVM to work in conservation or shelter medicine. I love to travel, especially to eco-tourist destinations, and when local I’m always on the search for great coffee shops. I currently have two dogs, both adopted pitties, a 16 year old who is living out her golden years in luxury and a 3 year old who thinks he’s human.
