Biography
Alex Cottin manages PCI Media Impact’s Communications and Development departments. Prior to joining the team, Alex served as Regional Director for Merlin USA, an international medical relief organization. Having worked in the public, private and humanitarian sectors for the past 8 years, he has led and coordinated projects in a number of high impact environments both domestically and internationally, with a strong focus in communications, development and strategic planning. Alex has lived, studied and worked in the US, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Caribbean. He holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (in International Studies and Economics) and an MA in International Development from Sciences-Po, Paris. Alex is a United Nations Alliance on Civilizations (UNAOC) Fellow as well as a Rotary Peace Fellow, with a professional development degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
