Biography
A member of the Brown faculty since July 2008, Kate received a B.S. in Biology from The University of New Mexico and a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology from The University of California Santa Barbara. Before arriving at Brown, she was a David H. Smith Conservation Research Fellow with the EcoHealth Alliance. Kate is a Faculty Fellow of Brown's Environmental Change Initiative, she sits on the Executive Board of the International Association for Ecology and Health, and is the founder of PetWatch.
