Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University lies in central Massachusetts 50 miles west of Boston. The main campus is set on over 500 rural acres in North Grafton, Massachusetts with the Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals, the Hospital for Large Animals, the Luke and Lily Lerner Spay/Neuter Clinic, and the Tufts Wildlife Clinic. Tufts Veterinary Field Service is located in Woodstock, Connecticut, and Tufts at Tech is located at Worcester Technical High School in Worcester, Massachusetts.
There are selected areas on the Grafton campus designated for student, employee, and client parking. There are currently construction areas on campus. Details and updates on temporary parking assignments can be found here.
Faculty, staff and students must have a Grafton campus parking sticker to park in designated spaces. Parking permit can be obtained online here.
Public Transportation
Students enjoy easy access to campus from surrounding areas with the school's proximity to the Grafton Station on the MBTA Framingham/Worcester Line Commuter Rail. From the station, exit the parking lot and take a right onto Pine Street and a left onto Route 30 (Westboro Road). The Cummings School campus is just up the road.

Who We Are
Tufts University Police Department (TUPD) is responsible for safety and security on the Grafton campus. An officer is on duty 24-hours a day, seven days a week to keep our students and campus community safe.

What We Do
We monitor, respond, and educate. The safety of our students, faculty, and staff is our first priority, as well as maintaining order and appropriate conduct on campus.
Services
- Campus Safety: Faculty, staff, students, and visitors should contact campus police for assistance in any emergency.
- GoSafe Service: For your personal safety, Grafton campus police offers campus-wide escorts, including service to and from the Grafton T station. GoSafe service is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week; contact the Grafton campus police.
- Crime Prevention: Our Crime Prevention Officer provides literature and talks on various crime prevention topics towards the goal of promoting awareness and making the Tufts community a safe one.
- Lost and Found: Campus police maintains a lost and found and loans engravers at no charge for students to mark their belongings.
- Lockout Requests: Officers will respond to lockout requests by individuals holding a university-issued ID card.

Proceed west on Route 9 for 6 miles until you reach the Route 30 west exit. Follow Route 30 west under Route 9 and on into Westborough Center. Go through Westborough Center and continue on Route 30 for 4 miles. Visitor Parking is available at the Jean Mayer Administration Building on the right off Route 30.
From New Hampshire and Maine
From New Hampshire and Maine follow major arteries to Interstate 495 South, then to Route 9. Take Route 9 west to the Route 30, Westborough exit. Follow Route 30 under Route 9 and on into Westborough Center. Go through Westborough Center and continue on Route 30 for 4 miles. Visitor Parking is available at the Jean Mayer Administration Building on the right off of Route 30.
From Connecticut and Western Massachusetts
From Connecticut or western Massachusetts take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) east to exit 96 towards Millbury/Worcester. At the end of the ramp, turn right on to Route 122 South towards Uxbridge. Drive approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto Bridge Street. At the traffic light turn left onto North Main Street. At the next traffic light, bear right onto Route 30 East and travel east about 2 miles. Visitor Parking is available at the Jean Mayer Administration Building on the left off of Route 30.

Tufts Equine Center is located in the Hospital for Large Animals at Cummings Veterinary Medical Center at Tufts is located at 53 Willard Street in North Grafton, MA.
Willard Street can be accessed off of Route 30.
Trailer and client parking is directly in front of the Equine Sports Medicine Complex to allow for quick and easy access to the facility.

The closest bus stop to the campus is at the corner of Belmont/Route 9 and Officer Manny Familia Way. The Campus is a short walk up the hill.
