Biography
In his 15‐year career as an environmental engineer, Jason has worked at large engineering and consulting firms (Stone & Webster; the Louis Berger Group), city agencies (New York City’s Department of Design and Construction) and small, specialized firms (EnTech Engineering). He’s worked on all aspects of environmental-services projects and is a particular expert in water and sanitation. Jason’s desire to apply his engineering skills to help the world’s poor led him to Engineers Without Borders seven years ago. Through Rotary International and Engineers Without Borders, he’s traveled to far-flung communities in Peru, El Salvador and Haiti to design and install water and sanitation systems. He started Toilets for People in 2012. Jason received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Tufts University in Environmental Engineering.
