Why did you choose to pursue this degree, and why did you choose Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine to pursue this degree?
When I first started at UMass as an Animal Science major, I quickly realized that veterinary school would not be for me. I began to look at other options, then I came across the MAPP website and immediately knew the program was something I wanted to be part of.
What are your interests and/or experience relative to your program?
After gaining exposure to how animals are treated in veterinary, shelter, laboratory, and farm settings, I realized a lot more needs to be understood about the human-animal connection.
What are your career goals after completing the program?
I would love to be in a career where I am in a position of change. I am still unsure which area I want to focus on, but want to spend my time after MAPP making a difference.
