Westborough native Jeff Poole (he/him) recently joined Cummings School’s Communications and Marketing team as a full-time videographer/photographer. He has a decade of professional photography expertise and five years of professional videography experience and comes to the Grafton campus after most recently serving as a video producer and editor for Westborough's local access television station.

He recently earned a National Hometown Media Award from the Foundation of the Alliance for Community Media in the for-profit access center professional category. Poole was recognized for a video he co-produced about the Westborough Economic Development Committee Hall of Fame Award that nearby Nourse Farm received last year for its contributions to the local community and economy.

Poole is ready to put his skills to use on campus. “I hope to build relationships with faculty, staff, and students so they will feel comfortable with requesting photo/video coverage,” says Poole. “I am beyond excited to be part of Cummings School’s team and to combine my passions for animals and photography/videography. Although I’ve only been here a couple of weeks, I can already tell that this is my dream job.”

In his spare time Poole enjoys spending time and going on adventures with girlfriend Bailey and their dogs, Pixel and Wally, as well as tending to his hot pepper garden. His long-term retirement goal is to own some livestock—bees, chickens, and goats—in Nova Scotia.

Eager to meet members of the community, you can reach him at jeff.poole@tufts.edu or 508-839-7956.
