2026 Summer Student Panel Series
We are pleased to announce the return of our Summer Student Panel Series! These remote sessions will provide you with the opportunity to meet and interact with current veterinary students, admissions staff, and alumni of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
The Life of a First-Year
Get an early look at what your first year of veterinary school will be like—from navigating the curriculum to finding balance within your busy schedule. Anatomy Lab Manager Rick Rego and Simulation Lab Manager Michael Santasieri will discuss Tufts’ hands-on learning approach, while current students will share their perspectives on how to put your best foot forward in your first year.

Dual Degree and Me
Interested in combining your D.V.M. with public health, lab animal medicine, and/or international veterinary medicine? Hear from students pursuing the D.V.M./M.S. Public Health, D.V.M./M.S. Lab Animal Medicine, and the International Veterinary Medicine certificate. Tufts students will speak on topics such as what inspired them to pursue a dual degree, how they balance both programs, and the possibilities that their additional degree creates.

Hear from current Cummings School students who did not receive an offer of admission during their first application cycle. They will discuss their personal experiences with reapplying, changes in strategy, and where they focused their attention and resources to improve their candidacy. We hope this panel will strike the right balance of helpful information and positivity.
