Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois, 2017
Dr. Kati Jacobs was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She received a BS in Biology, Spanish and Zoology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2013. She then went on to earn her DVM from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. During her time in veterinary school, she fell in love with veterinary oncology. To learn more about the field, Dr. Jacobs elected to complete advanced training, including a rotating internship and oncology specialty internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey and an additional oncology specialty internship at Michigan State University. After completing her internships, she worked at a private practice as an Associate Veterinarian of Oncology in Richmond, Virginia.
When Dr. Jacobs is not working, she enjoys reading, watching football (Go Pack Go!) and baseball (Go Brewers!), playing with her two cats, Khaleesi and Reina, and exploring local attractions.
