Biography

Chris began volunteering with Tufts Wildlife Clinic in early 2013 before becoming a veterinary technician in May 2014. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2003 and began working in small animal medicine the same year. Chris enjoys training other veterinary technicians, teaching volunteers about husbandry and the care of wildlife, as well as teaching the fourth-year veterinary students about the care and handling of their assigned cases. Chris passed the VTNE in 2010 and in her time off, works part-time in a small animal practice and as an assistant horse trainer. She also volunteers for Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program and enjoys camping and the outdoors with her family, horses and dog.
