Biography
Lauren has always been especially interested in exotic, wild, and zoo animals - spending all of her free time at a local wildlife center or zoo and working part time in an exotic animal clinic growing up. Going to Tufts and becoming a veterinarian was a dream come true and the dream continues as she works as one of the current Tufts Zoological Companion Animal Medicine specialty interns! She is excited to continue her journey towards her end goal of being a zoo veterinarian while at Tufts, a place that quickly became like a second home. Lauren has a special interest in reptile medicine and is a board member of the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, but she loves seeing every species of animal patient. Lauren adores living in the northeast, enjoying the seasons, skiing, hiking, and spending time with her own pets, as well as painting and gaming in her off time.
