Why did you choose to pursue this degree, and why did you choose Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine to pursue this degree?
I chose the MS in Conservation Medicine program because I felt strongly connected to the core mission and I’m impressed with the holistic problem-solving approach this program embodies. I think this program is incredibly unique and is doing important work that the world needs.
What are your interests and/or experience relative to conservation medicine?
Before the MCM program, I completed a year of environmental conservation and restoration service with AmeriCorps in Seattle.
What are your career goals after completing the program?
After graduation, I would like to build up field experience and go on to a Ph.D. program.
