Meet Marie Gryszowka, Certified Veterinary Technician
Q&A
Marie Gryszowka, C.V.T., she/her/hers
Technician level 2
Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals
Diagnostic Imaging Service
What drew you to veterinary medicine and Cummings School?
I was looking for a change of pace after working in general practice medicine for 8 years.
What do you love about your role at Cummings School?
I love teaching and Tufts provides an opportunity not only to teach other technicians but veterinary students.
What’s a favorite experience from your time at Cummings School?
My favorite part of veterinary medicine is the patients. I love senior small dogs. They make me smile anytime I get to handle them.
What brings you joy in life?
Hospice care for senior dogs brings me so much joy. I love creating a bucket list of adventures for them and enjoy getting to show them compassion before it's their time to pass.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
I love to hike, trail run, visit breweries, and go to concerts.
