Giving FAQs
If you do not see the answer to your question(s) about giving to Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, please contact the Cummings School Advancement Team.
-
What sets us apart from other animal-focused organizations is our commitment to educating new leaders. We provide outstanding teaching to prepare the next generation of veterinarians. We dedicate ourselves to providing compassionate and sensitive care for companion animals, livestock and wildlife. And, we draw on clinical work, field studies, laboratory science and interdisciplinary perspectives to stay on the cutting edge of research benefiting animal and human public health. Founded in 1978, Cummings School has emerged as a powerful influence on the future of veterinary medicine—locally, across the nation and around the world.
-
For purposes of counting and recognition, the giving year (fiscal year) for Tufts University runs from July 1–June 30.

Cummings School Veterinary Fund supports all of the above with immediate results. A gift to the Veterinary Fund strengthens the school's daily excellence. Annual unrestricted gifts from alumni, parents and friends enable the school to provide financial aid for worthy students, to purchase new equipment for the veterinary hospitals, to develop new academic programs and clinical services, to expand library and computer resources, and to support studies that promote animal health.
