M.S. in Conservation Medicine ‘26
Biology
Simmons University 2024
Why did you choose to pursue this degree, and why did you choose Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine to pursue this degree?
I chose the MS in Conservation Medicine program at Cummings School to broaden my knowledge on wildlife medicine and better understand the connection between humans and animal health.
What are your interests and/or experience relative to conservation medicine?
I have worked at a wildlife rehab center in Florida, as well as worked with the New England Aquariums Rescue Sea Turtle Department. For the past year, I have been working at an emergency animal hospital, learning more about small animal medicine.
What are your career goals after completing the program?
My goal is to go to veterinary school, but I am unsure which direction to go in. I know this year will guide and provide insight towards deciding.
