Why did you choose to pursue the M.S. in Animals and Public Policy (MAPP) degree, and why did you choose Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine to pursue this degree?
I believe the M.S. degree will broaden my knowledge of animals, while also expanding my knowledge of animal policies. Cummings School is my dream veterinary school, which led me to pursue this degree here. This school also offered an animal-specific master’s degree that I am extremely interested in.

What are your interests and/or experience related to this program?
I have volunteered in animal shelters since I was a teenager, which allowed me to see my love for animals and protecting their rights. I have also worked in veterinary clinics through college, and I still currently work in one.

What are your career goals after completing the program?

After completing this program, my career goal is to pursue veterinary school to become a small animal veterinarian.
