Biography

Dr. Allan grew up in Northeast Ohio where she began riding and showing Morgan horses. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Cincinnati before completing veterinary school at the Ohio State University in 2019. Dr. Allan then completed a 1-year rotating internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga, New York. She then joined New England Equine Practice in Patterson, New York, working in both a hospital and ambulatory setting. Here, her passion for critical care and internal medicine grew, sparking her interest in pursuing advanced training in large animal internal medicine. Dr. Allan's main interests in clinical medicine include neurologic diseases, emergency and critical care, and equine asthma.
