Biography
Dr. Nicole Tiberio is a proud member of the Class of 2026 at The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She is so excited to join the team as one of the new Tufts Wildlife interns and begin this next chapter of her veterinary career. Her passion for wildlife medicine began during her first clinical veterinary experience at a wildlife hospital on Cape Cod, where she quickly fell in love with the field and the opportunity to care for native wildlife. Originally from Massachusetts, she is excited to spend the first years of her career practicing somewhere that already feels like home.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, thrifting, caring for her ever-growing collection of houseplants, and taking long walks with her dog, Jelly. Jelly is especially meaningful to her as he was one of the beagles who helped her learn her very first veterinary skills and has since been by her side throughout her journey to becoming a veterinarian. He remains her pride and joy, and she is always happy to share stories and photos of him.
