Toni Rabasco, MCM’22

Biography

Hello, my name is Toni Rabasco and I graduated from the University of Vermont in the year of 2020. I majored in Animal Science with a minor in Wildlife Biology. Prior to the MCM Program I work at Mt Mansfield Animal Hospital in Jericho, Vermont where I am a veterinarian assistant. I am very interested in learning how human and animal health are impacted by ecology. Through my classes at UVM and learning in the field, I became especially interested in learning how to protect and maintain biodiversity, and with that navigating the human-wildlife conflict. I was able to have experiences such as working in Ecuador with an alpaca herd and analyzing lion pride population dynamics in Tanzania. For my outside interest I really enjoy running and birding. I ran Division 1 cross country and track at UVM which led me to a lot of good birding sites! I am so excited to start this program and meet everyone in the fall.
