Biography

Dr. Kelsea Studer, DVM, DACVECC, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University and completed a small animal rotating internship, a zoological medicine internship, and specialty training in emergency and critical care, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Emergency and Critical Care in 2025. Dr. Studer's clinical and research interests span emergency and critical care, coagulation, toxicology, and the management of exotic and zoological species. She has a passion for teaching the next generation of veterinarians with a particularly interest in clinical reasoning, critical thinking, evidence based medicine and physiology.
