Biography
Dr. Haley is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, after which she participated in multiple post-DVM training programs, including a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center, a surgical internship in Dallas, TX and a research and teaching internship at the University of Missouri. She spent several years as a general practitioner in Texas before deciding to transition back into specialty medicine in veterinary anesthesia. She completed her residency in comparative anesthesiology and analgesia at the University of Minnesota in 2023.
Dr. Haley's special interests include pain management and lecturing on pain topics, locoregional anesthesia, and managing intense cardiovascular and respiratory anesthetic cases. She is passionate about empowering students and veterinary colleagues through teaching so they can make informed anesthetic choices for their patients with confidence.
In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two large dogs, running, and hiking.
