Dr. Alice Levy (she/her), a native of Paris, France, has been appointed as an assistant clinical professor of diagnostic imaging in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.

She earned a D.V.M. from the National Veterinary School of Alfort, near Paris, then completed a small animal internship at the University of Montreal. Levy gained a year of clinical experience working in a small animal general practice in France before finishing an imaging internship in Alfort and then a residency in diagnostic imaging at CHV Anicura Aquivet in Eysines, France.

Drawn to Cummings School by its reputation, state-of-the-art equipment, and the large, diverse, and experienced diagnostic imaging team, Levy is eager to share her knowledge with students. “Being a professor is an opportunity to stay up to date in my field while continuing to improve my veterinary knowledge and skills from such a great team,” she says. “I look forward to offering the highest diagnostic standard to pets and owners and sharing knowledge and experience with the students and residents I work with.”

Levy can’t wait to begin lecturing to students, and she also anticipates contributing to new research projects soon. She relocated to the area with her fiancé, a Birman cat named Oreo, and Merlin, a Golden Retriever. Her hobbies include running, yoga, horse riding, reading, and traveling.
