- How do you start your day?
I always start my day with a routine: wish my husband a good morning, eat breakfast, cuddle with my dog, listen to only parts of the morning news, check my children’s social posts, and then get ready for work.
- What is on your bucket list?
Traveling western Europe and Australia.
- What three words best describe you?
Loyal, Humble, Caring.
- If you could time travel, what year(s) would you visit?
I would travel back in time to meet my maternal grandmother (early 1960’s). She died before I could know her and would love to hear the stories she would tell and the advice she would give.
- What is your hidden talent?
Reupholstery and sewing. I love to reverse engineer how something was made.
- What book, movie, podcast, show would you recommend?
Mel Robbins, The Let Them Theory.
- What is your dream vacation?
Anywhere on any coastline where it’s warm with an unlimited budget.
- What or who has had the greatest impact on you?
My mother. She was a single mom who raised me and my sister on her own. She is a strong woman and has passed that strength onto her daughters, two-fold.
- What’s the best advice you ever received?
As a woman in this stage of my life – “Focus on your personal growth and fulfillment.” I’ve raised a beautiful family and now it is some time to focus on me.
- What is your least favorite word or phrase?
“I can’t do that for you.” Tell me what you CAN do for me!
- What is your favorite junk food?
Pizza!
- What is your theme song?
All I Want is You – U2. The song is inspired by Bono's love and appreciation for his wife and mirrors the same I have for my husband.
- Dog or cat or ??
Definitely dog. I’ve had lab retrievers who have been a part of our family for over 20 years!
- Who would play you in a movie?
Sandra Bullock.
- What is your favorite season of the year?
Summer!
- What is your favorite color?
Blue.
- Early bird or night owl?
Early bird, I love the silence while watching a beautiful sunrise.
- What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people ‘reply all’ on an email when they don’t need to.
- What is your favorite type of surprise?
When someone cooks for me or makes spontaneous plans to eat out for a fun evening.
- What or who makes you smile?
My husband.
