Referring Veterinarians

Referring a client to Foster Hospital is easy with veterinarian liaison support.

The Ophthalmology Service provides routine and emergency care for all types of eye injuries and diseases in dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Overseen by our board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist, the service offers the most up-to-date medical and surgical options for your pet. Your pet can see us for a basic eye exam, but we also manage complex eye conditions including corneal ulcers, dry eye, glaucoma, uveitis, cataracts, and more. Surgical procedures performed range from basic laceration repairs and mass removals to complex eyelid reconstruction, corneal grafting, and cataract removal.

We work in conjunction with the anesthesia, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, zoological companion animal/exotics, and pathology services to deliver efficient, comprehensive care for your pet. Please contact our liaison to discuss your pet's needs and schedule an appointment at 508-887-4839. We also welcome inquiries from your family veterinarian regarding referrals.
