Remember, a young animal’s best chance for surviving is with its parents. If you find a baby animal and know that the parents are dead or are certain that the parents are not attending the young animal, it is orphaned and you will need to get the animal to a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator. If you do not receive a call back within several hours (or by the next morning if you call after 6PM), try contacting a different wildlife rehabilitator for advice.
