Before heading into their clinical rotations every March, third-year students can participate in Enrichment Week to gain expertise and practice techniques not part of the core curriculum. Faculty and staff from across our clinics and hospitals provide hands-on training to students. Areas include a deeper dive into surgery, intravenous (IV) practice, a shadowing experience in Zoological Medicine, practical parasitology labs, small ruminant procedures, lab animal facility tours, and more. This week is a fantastic chance for students to connect with instructors from all over the school and for instructors to teach their passions.
