Why did you choose to pursue this degree, and why did you choose Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine to pursue this degree?

Always having a strong love of animals I wanted to do something that involved animals while not being a veterinarian. When I heard about this program I was surprised something like it existed and thought it was the perfect pipeline to join the world of helping animals from a policy perspective!

I have never explored helping animals in a hands-off way and this seemed like a career that I would love and feel fulfilled doing. There also seems like many career options afterwards and leaves many doors open for future possibilities.

What are your career goals after completing the program?

My goal is to work at an animal nonprofit organization that has both good morals and carries out successful operations in helping animals in the world.
