Biography
Dr. Amber Best is originally from Botwood, NL, Canada and has always had a passion for working with horses from a young age. From the time she started working with horses and driven by a love of science she knew the veterinary field was where she wanted to be. Amber first received a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) with a focus in Animal Science and from there attended the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in Scotland. Following graduation from veterinary school, she completed an internship at Elders Equine Veterinary Service, a referral and first opinion practice in Winnipeg, where she further developed her love of surgery and emergency cases. In her spare time, Amber loves to read a good mystery novel, travel, and get to ride any chance she can.
