Biography

Dr. King-Podzaline received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests lie in Dairy Production Medicine and Farm Animal Welfare. She is currently working on a research project entitled "On-farm Hispanic labor training and its impact on worker job satisfaction and performance." Dr. King-Podzaline has teaching experience in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery, Toxicology, Clinical Skills, Bovine Procedures, and the Farm Animal Module for the MS in Animals and Public Policy (MAPP) program. Dr. King belongs to the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners. In her free time, Dr. King enjoys cooking, hiking with her dog, swimming, skiing, yoga, and any activity on the water.
