Parents, family members and guests of graduating Tufts students who opt-in to TuftsAlert will receive emergency alerts during a two-week period at commencement time. Should an issue arise during that timeframe, severe weather or another emergency, a text message would be sent alerting you of the effected campus, the issue and emergency instructions.
To register for the Emergency Alerts, please return to this webpage for instructions in the spring.
The 39th Commencement of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
Sunday, May 23, 2021
Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine invites family and friends to join us remotely to celebrate the commencement of students in our DVM and graduate programs. Students will be provided a link to share with family and friends so that they can remotely watch commencement ceremonies, hosted in real-time by Dean Alastair Cribb on May 23, 2021. The recording of the events will be posted on our website for general viewing following the ceremonies. Details of the events will be shared with students as they are finalized.
Family and friends are reminded that for health and safety reasons, our campuses are currently closed to visitors and will remain closed through the remainder of the academic year.
The goal of our class gift campaign was to reach 21% class giving participation – in honor of our graduation year – by fundraising for toys, enrichment activities, and the other necessities for the newly renovated Cat Ward at the Henry & Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals. Together, we raised $495 with 24% participation! These donations will make a huge difference for our feline friends while they are in our care.
Thank you, Class of 2021, and also to Dean Cribb for his personal match!
