Fear of noises is a very common and real problem for dogs. When a dog is exposed to certain noises, such as sirens, smoke alarms, fireworks, kettle whistles and vacuum cleaners, a dog with a noise phobia may pant or salivate excessively, tremble, or run and hide from fear.
