What To Do If The Clinic Is Closed
We cannot accept animals outside of our normal operating hours, which are 8:30 am-5:00 pm seven days a week. Outside of these hours, we ask you to keep the animal in a secure box in a quiet place and leave us a message at 508-839-7918. We will call you back promptly as soon as we open.
If you have found a sick or injured wild bird, please read Precautions for avian influenza (HPAI)
If you have found a raccoon, skunk, woodchuck, or bat, which poses a high risk of rabies, please refer to the information here.
A Note About Healthy Baby Animals
It is important to note that Tufts Wildlife Clinic does NOT accept healthy baby animals or those who are orphaned or abandoned. In those situations, please find a Wildlife Rehabilitator in Massachusetts.
