New Service! Bovine IVF
The image is bovine oocytes (eggs) from a donor cow collected at the TAS clinic. These oocytes were shipped to an in vitro fertilization (IVF) lab and will be sent back in about a week as fertilized embryos. This exciting new service has been offered with great success to our clients this spring, resulting in many IVF pregnancies.
Fit for a Princess
Susan Crawford says Dr. Alfredo Sanchez-Londoño of Tufts Ambulatory Service has always gone the extra mile. It was no exception when he not only made the arrangements for “Princess” to receive treatment at Cummings Veterinary Medical Center, but made sure to be at the facility during the process as well.
Ambulatory Service Veterinarians Are Adept at Switching Gears
Tufts Ambulatory Service has nine large-animal veterinarians who juggle regular wellness visits with all manner of emergencies—taking about 4,000 farm calls a year all over southern New England for sheep, goats, cattle, pigs and horses.
