Hannah Siebens Student Profile

Hannah Siebens

I graduated from Vassar College in May 2012. I grew up in London, England where my parents still reside. I have no direct work experience in the field of public health. I started becoming interested in zoonotic diseases at a young age when I came into close contact with tropical parasites and disease while living and traveling in Asia. I later moved back to England and lived through the British BSE and foot-and- mouth epidemics, which further excited me to explore fields within public health. By combining an MPH with a DVM I eventually hope to serve in a legislative position that allows me to improve safety for both humans and animals. I'd also like to practice conservation or zoo medicine and I hope to travel internationally and frequently.
