The Master of Science in Infectious Disease and Global Health Program is holding its annual Open House for prospective students on Friday, January 6th 2017. Our Open House provides an opportunity to meet faculty, discuss the program, visit our campus and learn more about the program. For more information contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our one-year program provides the highest level of education and training in the emergence, spread and nature of infectious agents and the diseases they inflict on human and animal populations across the globe. This unique program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of many fields related to infectious disease, and extensive training in lab or research technologies used in epidemiology, diagnostics, immunotherapeutics, immunology, molecular biology and microbiology. Additionally, a unique animal model course trains students to study infections and intoxications in vivo, observing clinical symptoms, evaluating therapies, collecting and assaying biological samples, and analyzing and presenting data.
The Master of Science in Infectious Disease and Global Health Program is designed to advance students to meaningful careers in the biopharma industry, government agencies, academia and non-profit organizations in a variety of areas, including basic and applied laboratory and field investigations, clinical research, disease diagnosis, global health, biodefense, biocontainment, and biosafety. Graduates also enhance their credentials for admission to doctoral level MD, DVM, and PhD programs.
