Tufts University has had a long-standing international commitment in education as well as in service and research. The International Veterinary Medicine (IVM) Program at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the field of international veterinary education, and in innovative approaches to supporting animal health in the developing world. The program has grown from an initial focus on the advancement of agricultural systems in the developing world to encompass international issues in conservation medicine and global health. IVM faculty members are joined by a large network of adjunct faculty based throughout the world.
The International Veterinary Medicine Signature Opportunity represents the Tufts IVM Program’s educational contribution to the Cummings School DVM program, providing a variety of classroom and field-based learning opportunities to fit the needs of all veterinary students.
