Should You Be Worried About Dog Flu?
With the large outbreak of canine influenza in the Midwest making headlines, many pet owners are understandably worried about the disease. The virus has reportedly sickened more than 1,000 dogs and killed at least five pets in Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana. Canine influenza, or “dog flu,” is caused by a relatively new virus.
Quick Action and Teamwork Lead to Happy Ending
For Oliver, it was the quick action by the Foster Hospital for Small Animals’ emergency services team at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts, as well as their effective collaboration with the other specialists, that resulted in a happy ending for this very sad puppy.
