Choosing the Cummings School

Tufts was my choice for veterinary school because of its commitment to the ambassadorship of excellent veterinary medicine nationally and abroad. Before beginning my studies at Tufts I had been told by numerous individuals about the exceptional care they had received for their pets at the Foster Hospital for Small Animals and often times they had traveled hours to utilize their services. Furthermore, upon visiting Tufts and learning about the various international programs, including Heifer International, I then decided that this was an institution that I wanted to join.

Flexibility of Selectives

The flexibility of the selective program has allowed me to explore the diverse fields of veterinary medicine that interest me including small animal surgery, large animal medicine, small animal oncology and biomedical research. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience areas of veterinary medicine that may not have been accessible previously or that you have an interest in investigating further.

Campus Life

The campus life at Tufts is warm and inviting. I have been impressed with the accessibility and the welcoming character of the faculty and staff. It is wonderful to experience this journey with such dedicated and committed colleagues.
