Choosing the Cummings School

I chose Tufts because of its emphasis on research. Most other vet schools place a strong emphasis on agricultural training and do not offer the same type of research opportunities that Tufts does, such as the summer and one-year research programs. I was also very excited to learn, when compared to other vet schools, that Tufts receives the highest amount of NIH funding for research per member of its research staff.
